At Berenpas Aerospace, the HALTER LoadAssistant Universal Premium does not only run during unmanned hours. The robot cell also loads the Mazak Integrex i-200 multitasking machine during the day. “This allows the operator to operate two machines. And in the extra hours we produce for our own stock,” says director-owner Ate Berenpas. Berenpas Aerospace supplies high-quality fittings and quick couplings to the aerospace industry and other sectors. A lot of serial work is being machined on the Integrex. “These are ideal pieces for the HALTER, 50 mm round and 80 mm high.” Ate Berenpas did not have to convince his employees to bring a robot cell on board. “My CNC operator followed a workshop at HALTER and then recommended the cell to me. The HALTER LoadAssistant is easy to program and has a lot of capacity.” What does the robot cell offer the family business? “More flexibility in our own stock,” Ate concludes.
